Rebrand and new summer school for Bath Academy

Bath Academy, a UK-based independent college and language school, has rebranded after merging its academic and ELT departments and has announced a new junior summer location for 2018.

In a statement announcing the merger of departments and rebrands, which comes with a new logo and courses added to the portfolio, Bath Academy said it was seeing increasing numbers of students that were interested in learning more than English.

"We've had great success with international students who start their journey of studying English with us and soon progress to Pre-A Level and UFP [University Foundation Programme] courses, resulting in places offered from top UK universities."

Along with the rebrand, Bath Academy has announced a new junior summer location from 2018 at Milton Abbey.

"Milton Abbey is in a wooded Dorset Valley, an hour and a half from Bath. It is a historical boarding school which provides the perfect self-contained environment for young students to study English and experience another side of English life away from the city," said the provider.

Courses at Milton will be available for groups and individual students aged 12-to-16 years, with a maximum class size of 13. Full-board residential accommodation is included within the package.

As well as a standard course of three hours of English lessons per day, the programme also includes a language skills workshop, mini projects, debates, drama skills and an activities and excursion programme.

The Milton Abbey programme adds to the existing Bath-based summer junior school for Bath Academy.
