The location of the new CLA Los Angeles school
California Language Academy expands LA school with move

US-based provider California Language Academy (CLA) has announced the move of its Los Angeles school to a larger location.

The new centre is situated 1.2 miles from the previous location in the 'Silicon Beach' area, and features eight classrooms, a kitchen and student lounge, and a larger welcome area.

In a statement, CLA said the school was near major technology companies including Google, Yahoo and YouTube, and close to Venice, Santa Monica and Manhattan beaches.

Alissa Olgun, Co-Founder and COO of CLA, said, "Seven years ago, CLA started in the business centre of our apartment complex as a small evening programme. It is amazing to see how it has quickly grown from that little conference room to an official office, to a five-classroom school, to this new eight-classroom space!

"It is wonderful and exciting to see how far CLA has come in such a short space period of time, and we can't wait to see what is next."

The move of the Los Angeles school follows an expansion of CLA earlier this year, when it opened a second branch in San Diego.

An ACCET-accredited, SEVP-approved school, CLA offers a suite of language courses, including Vacation English programmes of six, 12 and 15 hours per week, full time courses of 18, 21 or 27 hours per week, study tour programmes and tailored group courses.
