ELS partners with California Lutheran Uni for MBA pathway

ELS Educational Services has announced an agreement with California Lutheran University (CLU) to develop pathway programmes for international students to enter MBA courses at the institution.

The agreement builds on the existing 10-year relationship between ELS and CLU and will see the first intake for the California Lutheran University Pre-MBA Pathways Program from the autumn semester of 2018.

ELS said the Pre-MBA would offer a combination of services to international students, including English language tuition delivered simultaneously with credit-bearing courses, as well as counselling and student support.

"As a fitting tribute to the 10th anniversary of our excellent partnership, ELS is delighted to enter this new agreement with CLU, which will offer our students a very focused path into the highly popular MBA programme," said ELS Executive Vice President, Alexandra Zilovic.

The programme marks the first credit-bearing pathway with direct matriculation into one university for ELS.

"With this partnership agreement, ELS is also pleased to announce its entrance into the pathway business segment, bringing together our exceptional reputation on preparing international students for university studies, as well as our unparalleled history of cooperation with the U.S. higher education community," said Alexandra.

CLU President, Chris Kimball, commented, "Cal Lutheran is delighted to expand its 10-year partnership with ELS by offering a new way to access our outstanding MBA programme. We are delighted by this opportunity to serve our growing population of international business students."

Established more than 55 years ago, ELS offers pathway programmes to enter international students into universities in Australia, Canada, China, India, Malaysia and the USA.
