Emerald Cultural Institute expands further into UK junior market

Ireland-headquartered provider Emerald Cultural Institute (ECI) is expanding further into the UK junior business with the opening of a second summer centre at Worth School in Sussex.

The 500-acre site is home to Arsenal Football Club's training ground and is located 10 minutes from London Gatwick Airport. ECI will be offering multi-activity programmes for students aged 11-to-17 years old, and Intensive English courses for 14-to-17-year-old students.

In a statement, ECI said, "Worth offers the best modern facilities including a golf course, a performing arts centre and en suite accommodation in one of the UK's most historic and stunning campuses."

Worth School adds to ECI's first foray into delivery of junior courses in the UK last year, when it opened a centre at Cobham Hall in Kent.

"Emerald has a global reputation for consistently delivering quality junior programmes and we are proud to build on that reputation at Worth School and Cobham Hall - two of the UK's most distinguished and elite boarding schools," said Jackie Pilkington, Director of Emerald UK.

"We aim to provide an experience of a lifetime to students and a personalised, unbeatable service to our partners," she continued.

ECI offers junior programmes in Ireland, the UK and the USA, as well as a suite of adult courses in Ireland.
