Darwin, the location of the latest IH school in Australia
IH Darwin set to open its doors

International House (IH) Darwin will open this month as the latest IH school in Australia, owned and operated by the company that runs IH Sydney and the recently established IH Bondi.

The new IH Darwin, set to welcome students from February 6, will begin by offering English language courses on the Darwin campus of BCA National, a vocational school offering early childcare development, disability and aged care courses.

IH Darwin will provide General English programmes as well as preparation courses for Ielts, Pearson PTE, and the Cambridge FCE and CAE exams.

Commenting on the attraction of the area, Tim Eckenfels, Owner of IH Training Services Pty Ltd, which operates the chain of schools, said, "The Northern Territory has become a popular destination for international students seeking an authentic Australian experience. Accommodation, work opportunities and adventure are plentiful."

He added, "With Kakadu National Park, beautiful water and landscape and plenty of outdoor activities, IH Darwin is perfect for study tours."

He said the city was well connected, with non-stop daily flights from Asian cities including Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.

IH Sydney is a member school of English Australia, is quality endorsed by NEAS, and is part of the International House World Organisation (IHWO) network of schools.
