Languages Canada launches new search portal

Languages Canada, the association representing English and French language providers, has launched a new web tool to provide personalised searches for agents, students, parents and other parties.

The association said that after a few questions, the new portal searches the database of its 210 members to produce a list of schools filtered by criteria.

The portal includes questions on type of programme, reasons for learning English or French, preferred accommodation options and type of destination desired.

Gonzalo Peralta, Executive Director of Languages Canada, said, "We are excited to provide our members' partners with this tool that will help them to find the right programme for their clients.

"Together with the Languages Canada Agency Portal to be launched in February 2018, the Languages Canada Portal will help to promote Canada and our member programmes, and to build stronger relationships between our members and their trusted partners."

The profiles are created and updated by Languages Canada's members themselves, giving them control over their information and promotional items such as videos and stories.

An interview with Gonzalo on the association's activities and the latest trends in the Canadian market will appear in the February 2018 issue of StudyTravel Magazine.

Languages Canada will host its 10th annual conference next month in Toronto.
