The new OnSpain school in the Soho district of Málaga
OnSpain opens second campus in Málaga

Spanish language provider OnSpain has opened a second campus in Málaga, in the Soho art district of the city centre.

The provider said the new centre, facing the harbour and Ferris wheel, was located in one of the oldest buildings in the city centre. The 500m2 school features 21 rooms, including classrooms, meeting rooms and rental spaces, and adds to the original OnSpain centre in the Pedregalejo beach-side area.

The new school was officially opened last week at a special ceremony attended by representatives from the education, culture and tourism sectors in Spain, with the evening featuring Spanish guitar music and gastronomic specialities of the region.

Jose Maria Casero, Owner of OnSpain and President of AEEA (Asociación de Escuelas de Español en Andalucía) and the recently formed association of language schools in Málaga, NACEM, said that language tourism was increasingly becoming connected to the culture sector.

"The Spanish language student wants to get closer to art and Spanish culture, and the centre of Málaga is booming," he said.

Established ten years ago, OnSpain offers a portfolio of Spanish language programmes including Intensive, Business, DELE Preparation, Senior and Family courses.
