New summer school for Oxford ILS
Oxford International Language School (ILS) in the UK is to open a new junior centre in summer 2018, catering for students aged 14-17, with three programmes available.

The Oxford ILS Junior Summer School is located in the centre of Oxford in the Jericho area and all programmes include 15 hours of language classes per week: the JS Classes programme is tuition only; the JS Weekday Programme includes a recreational programme with lunch (Monday to Friday); and the JS Full Programme has the recreational programme with lunch (Monday to Sunday) and also includes homestay accommodation and bus pass.

Classes will be available from July 2 until July 29, 2018, and the total student capacity in the school is 150 with a maximum class size of 10 students.

"Over the past couple of years we have been receiving a lot of enquiries for the junior programme," said Ewa Bialek Calatayud, School Director at Oxford ILS. "So far, we have only been able to offer adult classes for 16- and 17-year-old students and we would now like to welcome these students, together with the younger ones, on a full programme of lessons, activities and excursions tailored especially for this age group."

Their established agent partners are already promoting the summer school, noted Ewa, who attended English UK's StudyWorld event in September this year.

"They know that there is a demand and they have welcomed the opportunity to work with us and support us," she added.

"There is a big interest from Western European families as well as the Far East. We are also currently promoting the programme in Eastern Europe. These countries have previously sent us closed groups in the winter and are now interested in the summer programmes."
