Pascal English School opens new accommodation in Lefkosia
Cyprus-based Pascal Education has opened a new boarding facility at its English School in the capital of Lefkosia (Nicosia), providing studio rooms for 36 students.

Each studio room has a unique themed wall and colour scheme with an en-suite bathroom, study area, kitchenette and covered balcony.

The accommodation is located a five-minute drive away from the school and has communal spaces for students including a dining room, study room and a basement hobby space where activities such as popcorn and pizza nights are organised by the 24/7 supervisors on site.

Ariana Milutinovic, Principal, International Baccalaureate Diploma Coordinator, at Pascal English School - Lefkosia, said, "The boarding school experience in Cyprus is unique as students get to learn and grow in a truly international environment in state of the art facilities on the sunny island at the heart of the Mediterranean.

"Our graduates are fully prepared for the independent university life after school."

As part of the boarding package, laundry and cleaning services are provided and security includes CCTV, a guard and card access control.

"Boarding school rules are explained to the parents and pupils in advance and their main purpose is to ensure that pupils have a safe and enjoyable boarding life which supports learning and ensures academic success," said Alexis Andreou, Director of Pascal Education.

A shopping centre, dance school and gym are all located next to the boarding facility.

Pascal English School - Lefkosia was founded in 1988 and has a student population of 500. Yiota Kontoloucas, Chair of the English Language Schools Association of Cyprus (ELSAC), of which Pascal Education is a member, was interviewed in ST Magazine about the group's activities and market trends of ELT in Cyprus earlier this year.
