Qualité Fle tops 100 centres with new accreditations

French language school accreditation label Qualité Fle has announced that six new centres have been certified in the first half of 2017.

The label, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, now accredits more 100 French language schools.

The newly certified Qualité Fle schools are: CFLE at the University of Poitiers; Destination Langue in Marseilles; France Langue Paris Notre-Dame; the Science Po campuses in Paris and Reims; and L'Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech.

Qualité Fle has also renewed the accreditation of 11 French language centres so far in 2017. A full list is available on the organisation's website.

Earlier in the year in an interview with StudyTravel Magazine, Caroline Mouton Muniz, Head of Programmes at Qualité Fle, said, "In 2017, there are more than hundred centres accredited with the French Foreign Language Quality label, which annually train more than 130,000 learners.

"Nearly 60 per cent of these students are under 34 years old. The majority of them are preparing for a university course or work in France. The most represented nationalities in the labelled centres are, in decreasing order: Europeans (German, Spanish, Italian), Chinese, Americans and Brazilians."

In the interview, Caroline details the history of the association and events to celebrate the 10-year landmark.
