Study Group partners with Lynn University, Florida

Global education provider Study Group has announced an agreement with Lynn University, USA, to establish an International Study Centre (ISC), and has also welcomed a new partner in the Netherlands.

The new ISC, providing pathway programmes to the university, will be located on the 115-acre Lynn campus in Boca Raton, Florida, and Study Group said international students would receive an educational experience that combined "world-class technology", in-demand programmes and a "dynamic campus culture".

Students can choose from 41 majors across six colleges, including bachelor's degrees in Sports Management and Fashion Retail, one-year MBAs in Entrepreneurial Management and Social Innovation Management, and the Burton D. Morgan College of Aeronautics, which provides hands-on training at Boca Raton Airport, the company said.

"As pathways continue to evolve in the United States, choosing partners with unique programmes that lead to global careers in exciting fields is central to our growth strategy," said Emily Williams Knight, Managing Director for Study Group Higher Education North America. "We are excited to work with Lynn, who value the special impact international students have on the culture and atmosphere of a university campus."

International students currently constitute more than 20 per cent of Lynn University's total student population. "Students from 96 countries currently call Lynn home, making it one of the United States' most international universities," said Gareth Fowles, Lynn Vice President for Enrolment Management.

"Lynn's campus culture helps create a rich learning experience and an opportunity for students to develop diverse friendships that last throughout their career."

Under the agreement, the company's 10th in the USA, Study Group will provide a full suite of marketing, recruitment, admissions and academic services to enhance the international student population at Lynn.

Meanwhile, Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands has joined the range of pathway partners for Study Group's Holland International Study Centre (HISC).

Students can progress via the International Foundation Year - Business and Management programme to Erasmus University, which Study Group said was ranked 69th overall in the world in the most recent Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016-17, and within the top 20 for Business and Economics.
