Study Group partners with Western Washington University

Global pathway provider Study Group has announced a partnership with Western Washington University (WWU), USA, to establish an international study centre (ISC).

Based on campus in Bellingham, Washington, the ISC will offer undergraduate and postgraduate pathway programmes and support the university's existing Intensive English Program (IEP).

The partnership will see Study Group provide global marketing and recruitment along with admissions and student services with the aim of growing the international student population at Western Washington University.

"We are incredibly excited about our partnership with Western Washington University," said Dr Emily Williams Knight, Managing Director of Study Group Higher Education North America.

"As our first partner on the US West Coast, we know this will be an attractive opportunity for international students. Western provides the perfect environment for students' self-discovery and with the quality of Western's programmes, we know these students will be successful."

Dr Sabah Randhawa, President of Western Washington University, commented, "Study Group shares our value in putting students first and supporting the success of all students.

"Adding their more than 24 years of international experience serving students, this partnership will provide greater resources to our campus community. We look forward to welcoming new international students in 2018."

Western Washington University becomes the 11th partner in the USA for Study Group, which also offers pathway programmes in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and the UK.

Study Group also operates the Embassy English brand, as well as Bellerbys Colleges in the UK.
