fRilingue's new ski chalet in Liddes, Switzerland
fRilingue purchases chalet for 2018 ski camp
fRilingue, a Swiss-based provider of language programmes and an outbound study travel agency, has purchased a newly refurbished ski chalet in Liddes, Switzerland where it will offer its 2018 Ski Camp.

The Ski Camp will run from December 31, 2017, until February 24, 2018, with ski and language courses available for juniors aged between eight and 18. Family packages are also available.

There will be 10 hours of morning language lessons per week in either French or English, as well as 15 hours of afternoon ski lessons. Students also have the opportunity to swap the language element for more ski lessons if they prefer.

Commenting on the new purchase, Philipp Weber, Founder of fRilingue, said, "We always wanted our own place, but as real estate is expensive in Switzerland and we don't use the premises all year round, it wasn't that easy.

"Now we are very happy that we have our own place!"

Located in the Valais canton, the chalet is just a 20-minute drive away from Verbier, one of the leading ski resorts in the region.

The chalet can accommodate 60 students in dorms of four, six and eight beds. Frilingue has also reached out to agents in its student recruitment efforts.

Next year marks fRilingue's 10th anniversary, and the company will celebrate with a party at the chalet for students, partners and friends.

In February, Michael McKean, English Language Representative at fRilingue, spoke to ST Magazine about the impact of studying languages in a multilingual environment.
