Lucy Cattermole
Lucy Cattermole has been appointed as Director of Recruitment, Kings English, part of Kings Education, overseeing the global development and growth of the Kings English programmes in the UK and USA. She recently held the position of Regional Development Director for Kings in Southeast Asia, where she successfully oversaw a new recruitment strategy and regional office structure. She will continue to perform this role while also leading the global development of Kings English products. Lucy brings over 15 years' experience in the international education industry, having started her career working in an agency in Spain, moving on to management positions in Study Group and EC, before joining Kings in 2015.

Cyndi McLeod
Cyndi McLeod has become CEO of Global University Systems (GUS) Canada, where she will also serve as Chair of the Board of Directors and Governors of its Vancouver-based subsidiary, University Canada West. She will be responsible for the group's expansion and wider operations in Canada, which include The Language Gallery and the Toronto School of Management. Previously, Cyndi has held senior leadership roles at Thompson Rivers University and Royal Roads University. "Cyndi is an award-winning, globally-minded executive and her decades of leadership experience have established her as an expert in strategic international partnerships and international education," said Aaron Etingen, Founder and Executive Chair of the GUS Group.

Amélie Grande
Amélie Grande has joined ALCE Bologna in Italy as Marketing Manager. Amélie has over 10 years of professional experience in the language travel industry. After a year of travelling and work experience in Australia, she worked for four years in a language school in France and then for more than five years in an agency in Switzerland. In her new role, Amélie is working along with Luca Armaroli, the Director of the school, to develop the marketing and sales strategy. She is the international interface of the school and main contact for agencies. "I am happy to have made a move to the country of my origins, especially to incite people to come to experience the dolce vita with ALCE, a great quality family-run school."

Laura Medina
Laura Medina has joined Net Languages as Sales and Marketing Director. Laura has over 12 years of professional experience in the international education industry. She started her career in Paris at Education en France/Escapade, then moved to USA to work as Marketing and Sales Manager for Inlingua Washington, D.C. In her new role, Laura will be responsible for developing Net Languages' marketing and sales strategy, establishing new agreements with partners, and tapping into new markets. "I am honoured to become part of the team and I am really excited about having the opportunity to work for one of the pioneers of online language learning," she said.

Marianne Vaccaro
Marianne Vaccaro has joined Atlantis Language Institute (ALI) as International Recruitment and Admissions Officer. The ALI has recently gained CEA accreditation and with the Atlantis University campus location of the Institute, students will benefit from the university perks (e.g. the social programme) as well as live and study in the same facilities in downtown Miami. Marianne has extensive industry experience having previously worked for St Giles, Sara's Homestay and TLA The Language Academy in the USA.

Simon Bracken
Simon Bracken has started his role as the new HE Manager at Bath College with a remit to develop and expand Higher Education and Access to University provision within the College. Simon will also manage the International Foundation Year (IFY) with the University of Bath, which is one of the flagship courses at Bath College, attracting students from around the globe who want to study in one of the UK's top rated cities. Simon has over 25 years of experience working in further education, and is looking forward to welcoming more international students to Bath College.

Logan Williams
Logan D. Williams has joined the team at Dr. Walter Insurance Brokers as International Sales Consultant to support Rene Gillet in covering the student exchange programmes. With over 10 years' experience in ELT/blended learning, Logan has supported various startups in Germany, and has volunteered in crisis zones in South East Asia. He is looking forward to his new role advising universities and programme directors, and informing academics on the importance of appropriate insurance coverage when travelling abroad.

Caitlin Greenwood
Caitlin Greenwood has joined US-based Ross School's admissions team in the role of Assistant Director of Admissions. Before Ross, Caitlin graduated from Bowdoin College in 2015 with a BA in German Language and Literature. After college she received a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in Kiel, Germany for the 2015-2016 school year. Having gathered many valuable study abroad experiences herself, she is very excited to start this new role. She is responsible for working with agents in Europe to represent Ross and recruit international students.

Marco Fortis
Marco Fortis has joined High Schools International (HSI) in the role of Sales & Marketing Manager. Marco will be a new face in the study travel sector, but he brings a wealth of skill and experience to the HSI team, having previously owned his own retail business and, more recently, worked for big brands in tech marketing. Marco will be replacing Tom Reed who, after five successful years with HSI, is taking some time to pursue further studies in languages and business management.

Matthew Schneider has been appointed as Director of Partnership Development at Wisconsin ESL Institute (WESLI) in the US. With 15+ years' experience in higher education, Matthew has been a leader in the development of both domestic and international student success. He has developed academic partnerships and dual degree programmes with colleges and universities all around the world. "Cross cultural immersion is critical for our global citizens to better understand each other," said Matthew. "International education and language programmes provide an excellent platform for that understanding." In his free time Matthew is part of the NAFSA Region V Leadership Team, an avid rugby player, and devoted family man.
